I started my public speaking career as an event director for corporate events, which I organised and ran for 10 years before moving to Switzerland.
Following the move I became a presenter for Mountain Radio Verbier – two years on the lunchtime show and one year as the breakfast show host, a job I totally loved and which gave me so many opportunities to do live radio, voiceovers and interviews as well as pre-recorded content.
I have been the race commentator at the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg (alpine ski racing) for several years and in 2016 presented the live acts at the Verbier Impulse music festival. I also presented the promotional video for Verbier Impulse in French and English.
I have been commentating on the ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation) World Cup circuit since 2014, when I was asked to stand in with a day's notice. I commentated at the finish line of the Vertical race in Verbier and loved it. They asked me back to do the World Championships the following year and the rest, as they say, is history... Today I am the official speaker for the ISMF and travel with the World Cup, commentating at home and abroad.
I am Scottish so my mother tongue is English, with a soft West of Scotland accent. I also commentate in French, in which I am fluent, due partly to my degree from the University of St Andrews and also from speaking it daily, living in the French speaking part of the canton of Valais, Switzerland.
When I am not mic in hand, I love ski mountaineering, trail running, skiing, cycling, hiking, kitesurfing, SUPing, encouraging my kids in their endeavours and I am an avid and tireless supporter of my Ironman husband. I also love to sing!

I really know the sport as a competitor. I absolutely love it and can talk training plans, transitions, metres of altitude, lightweight kit and rules and regs until the cows come home!
In 2108, I achieved my own personal skimo goal of finishing the PdG from Zermatt and running down the road in Verbier with my teammates and charging across the line with my kids! What next? Pierra Menta??

Droit de Catogne (6km, 1100m)
Trail du Vélan (21km, 2000m)
Half Marathon des Sables (110km, multi stage desert ultra)
